Hollywood Boulevard
Hollywood Boulevard is world famous as a former hub of the great movie studios and the playground of movie stars and celebrities. If you go there now, you will see plenty of souvenir shops and dining places lining the street that are however more suited for the rich. But you should not really thinking of leaving L.A without paying a visit to Hollywood Boulevard's Walk of the Stars and the Grauman's Chinese Theatre along it. The best part is that you can see these two historical places for free. Visitors can have fun just walking along the stretch and eying the historic places.Universal Studios
Universal Studios is a great place to come if you have kids. There are rides for enjoyment although they're not as great as the other theme parks. Experience it once if you like, but if you're going to shell out the cash, check out Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, take a lunch and drinks. Those places are a lot cheaper and you will get to enjoy more.Read Also : Getting Around in Bucharest is The Largest and Capital Municipality of Romania
Melrose Avenue
A favorite place for visitors, it is a shopping center and a place to eat in style in expensive restaurants. You would have plenty to do there aside from watching people and keeping an eye out for the occasional celebrity. The odds though are against it unless you are prepared to loiter around for a week or so. What is worse, you might brush shoulders with one and not know it. The bottom line is that you will be extremely lucky to actually see a movie star in a short visit.Farmers Market
The farmer's market at the Grove is an excellent way to enjoy your trip to Los Angeles. Cruise for fresh fruit and veggies, awesome food from local food stands, and if you're lucky you might see a star or two.
