Tourists the world over who have been to Turkey all come to an agreement that this country ranks among the most attractive locations. To note is that this country was once at the core of one of the most ancient of empires that lasted into our days and the state that is left is still brimming with the fresh progress, vitality and life.

The implication being made here is that if you are looking to spend your holidays in a places that is full of sandy and smooth beaches, spectacular views, rugged landscapes and contrasts, you will be very well advised to take advantages of the cheap travels and holidays to Turkey.

Keep in mind that Turkey offers one of the cheapest holidays ever. However, this is not to say that you will not have a quality experience. Indeed you will. Places you would be advised to visit include the beautiful Mediterranean beaches of Antalya. Your cheap holiday package to Turkey should also cover a visit to Istanbul with its contrasting cultures. Shopping in Istanbul is certainly an amazing experience you would not want to miss out when you are in Turkey.

Turkey's coastal towns are extremely popular holiday destinations, and it's no wonder; most have beaches with golden sands and blue seas. In addition, there's always lots to do, from water parks to water sports, and from safari tours to shopping. Olu Deniz has its famous Blue Lagoon, while Altinkum is graced by the Temple of Apollo, and Patara Beach, while spectacular in itself, is the place where sea turtles go to lay their eggs.

If you don't have time on your Turkey holidays to visit all the amazing historical sites that Turkey has to offer, you could visit them all at once in Istanbul. There's a park called Miniaturk which has reproductions of the major buildings you might visit on holidays in Turkey, as well as some from the former Ottoman Empire. A walk around the Miniaturk Park is no substitute for visiting the real buildings, but it is a fun display of what Holidays in Istanbul Turkey has to offer.

  1. Turkey is actually in my top 5 places I want to visit. When I was 15 I discovered a vacation guide about it. Flipping through, I saw so many incredible places I wanted to go, like Pamukkale. Istanbul, too, of course. The pictures there made it looks so colorful and alive. I don't remember seeing anything about some of the other places you listed, though, so I am going to look them up and probably add them to my list of what I want to see when I'm there.
